Drew McIntyre recently defeated Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship on SmackDown. The Scottish Warrior received help in the form of a returning Jacob Fatu, who attacked Rhodes to allow McIntyre to crawl out of the steel cage and win.
Fatu, Rhodes and McIntyre seem likely to continue in the title picture for the foreseeable future. However, according to a report from the Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE had plans for the three to have a title match at Survivor Series WarGames.
Unfortunately, Fatu suffered a legitimate injury in October that required surgery, and had to be written off television. As a result, the singles feud between McIntyre and Rhodes was brought forward and seemingly concluded when the Scottish Warrior dethroned Rhodes to finally win the WWE Title.

With WrestleMania 42 just a few months away, a Triple Threat Match could be in the works for the Show of Shows this year. However, it remains to be seen how the creative team will book the title feud for the Grandest Stage of Them All this year.
Jacob Fatu recently broke his silence after costing Cody Rhodes the WWE Title
Fatu made a surprise return during the main event of SmackDown last week. He initially attacked Drew McIntyre, but later turned his attention to Cody Rhodes, allowing the Scottish Warrior to crawl out of the cage and win the Three Stages of Hell Match.
On Instagram, Fatu broke his silence for the first time since SmackDown last week by uploading a video of him training.
“ALL GAS 🚫 BRAKES WIT IT❗️SIT BACK & ENJOY THE RIDE WITH ALL YALL NOSEY A**ES YADDIDIMEANNN!!!!!” wrote Fatu.
Fatu has been medically cleared to compete, and could make his return to the ring soon. It remains to be seen when we will be able to see the Samoan Werewolf back in action again.
