Roman Reigns gets into a heated confrontation with top babyface champion after WWE RAW goes off the air

Roman Reigns finally returned after a little over one month away from WWE, and after making his impact, he got into a heated confrontation with a top babyface champion once RAW went off the air.

This week on RAW, the final segment was all set so that Paul Heyman could reveal the fifth member of Team Vision at Survivor Series: WarGames. The field up to that point consisted of Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, and Drew McIntyre, who was added recently on SmackDown. The fifth member, of course, was none other than Brock Lesnar, who made his return to take out Cody Rhodes and CM Punk. This was what set up Roman Reigns’ return, and he proved to be Lesnar’s kryptonite. His presence gave the babyface team the upper hand.

Once RAW went off the air, the complete babyface team of Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, and CM Punk was in the ring. Reigns got into a heated confrontation with World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk before making a dramatic exit. You can see the off-air video below:

It’s safe to say that there is no love lost between Reigns and CM Punk. Last year, Punk was recruited to be a part of the Team OG Bloodline at Survivor Series: WarGames, and he did so only because of his respect for Paul Heyman. This time, they are united in their disdain towards Heyman, who betrayed both Punk and Reigns in the main event of WrestleMania 41 on Saturday.

Regardless, Reigns and Punk still seem to stand on opposite sides, even when teaming together. We will see in the next week or two how they manage to work together for a common cause. They did it once before, and they could do it again.
