WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre recently uploaded a cryptic post after joining The Vision for the Survivor Series. While at one glance, it seems like he is supporting Scotland’s national soccer team, his wording could also carry a hidden meaning.
Taking to Instagram, The Scottish Warrior posted an image of himself with a flag of Scotland in his hand. Congratulating the soccer team for bagging a spot in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, a feat they achieved after 28 years, McIntyre wrote:
“🏴🏴🏴. I’ll see you lads on this side of the pond in June 🥹”

With this, he is cheering for his national team on the other side of the Atlantic, while he is promising to do great things on US soil in WWE. However, the reference to June could mean two things.
While the first match of the FIFA World Cup takes place on June 29, 2026, McIntyre can be seen standing in front of the poster of Clash at the Castle. Interestingly, next year’s Money in the Bank has been pushed back to September instead of its usual place on the calendar in June.
Thus, Drew McIntyre could possibly be giving a spoiler that Clash will return to Scotland next year in June. This could be a potential spoiler dropped by the former World Heavyweight Champion, but unless WWE officially confirms it, it should be taken with a grain of salt.
Paul Heyman cleverly cancels the suspension of Drew McIntyre
Drew McIntyre got suspended by SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis when he attacked referee Dan Engler two weeks ago on the blue-branded show. However, last week on SmackDown, Paul Heyman approached Aldis, saying that he needed a man from the SD roster to join The Vision for the Survivor Series.
Not finding any problems with The Oracle’s proposal, Aldis agreed to allow Heyman to pick anybody from the blue-branded roster. Surprisingly, the Hall of Famer stunned the GM by choosing to recruit The Scottish Psychopath.
With this, Heyman found the perfect loophole to cancel the suspension of Drew McIntyre and also got him on his side. This week on RAW, The Oracle revealed that Brock Lesnar is his fifth and final man alongside McIntyre, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, and Logan Paul.
These five men will go against Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, and Roman Reigns. The OTC returned on this week’s episode of RAW for the first time since his loss to Reed in an Australian Street Fight at the 2025 Crown Jewel.
