WWE SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis has big plans for the blue brand ahead of Survivor Series. Aldis had a busy night this past Friday Night.
Things are heating up in the blue brand ahead of Survivor Series. With several ongoing storylines, the SmackDown GM is having a hard time keeping things under control. He was irate this week to see Drew McIntyre show up after he had suspended The Scottish Warrior. Aldis also had a tough time managing chaos in the tag team division, with The MFTs going head-to-head against Sami Zayn, Rey Fenix, Shinsuke Nakamura, and The Motor City Machine Guns in an all-out brawl.
After the brawl, Solo Sikoa caught up with Nick Aldis backstage. Solo pointed out that Sami Zayn was cleared to wrestle and demanded a match against him. Aldis mentioned that the MFTs had many enemies on the blue brand, and a singles match wouldn’t settle things. Instead, he suggested that the two groups collide in a traditional five-on-five Survivor Series Elimination match in two weeks. The match will take place on the November 28 edition of SmackDown.
“Solo, I don’t have any more time, and you clearly have more enemies than just Sami Zayn. So how about this? In two weeks, before WarGames, you and the MFTs can take on Sami Zayn, Shinsuke Nakamura, Rey Fenix, and the Motor City Machine Guns on SmackDown in a five-on-five Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team match. Excuse me,” Aldis said.
