Jade Cargill breaks silence after huge non-WWE appearance

WWE Superstar Jade Cargill recently took to social media to send a message after making a massive appearance outside the world of professional wrestling. The Storm is the current Women’s Champion.

In November 2025, Jade Cargill won her first singles title in World Wrestling Entertainment when she dethroned Tiffany Stratton as the Women’s Champion. Since then, Cargill has defended her gold against multiple opponents, including Mia Yim, B-Fab, and Bayley.

The Storm recently took to Instagram to share a series of photos from her meetup with some incredible names from Hollywood, including Ben Affleck and Matt Damon. The WWE Women’s Champion posed with the stars ahead of their upcoming movie, The Rip, scheduled to release on January 16, 2026, on Netflix.

In the post’s caption, Jade wrote that she was honored to meet the cast and director of The Rip, thanking everyone, including Netflix and WWE, for making it happen.

“Honored to share space with such a powerful cast and visionary director. The Rip. Thank you, Joe Carnahan, Ben, Matt, Sasha, Catalina—and @netflix @wwe —for the love and the art. 🤍🎥,” she wrote.

Jade Cargill on Tiffany Stratton’s WWE absence

Since dropping the Women’s Championship to Jade Cargill at Saturday Night’s Main Event in November 2025, Tiffany Stratton has been absent from the Stamford-based promotion’s weekly programming.

During a December 2025 interview on Going Ringside, the host asked Cargill about her feud with Stratton. The Storm made it clear that she did not want to talk about Tiffy before highlighting that Friday Night SmackDown was the “Jade Cargill show” now.

I don’t wanna talk about Tiffany Stratton. She’s gone right now. It’s all about Jade Cargill and the Jade Cargill show that you can catch on SmackDown every Friday. I can care less about what she is doing right now,” she said.

It remains to be seen what the Triple H-led creative team has planned for Jade Cargill’s future as the Women’s Champion.
