Finn Balor shocked the WWE Universe on RAW this week when he interrupted World Champion CM Punk and made it clear that he wanted a title shot.
Balor is a former Universal Champion in his own right and made it clear he was coming for the World title ahead of this week’s show. Balor pushed for a title match in Ireland next week, and it was later approved by WWE.

Initially, CM Punk wanted to defend his title against Balor in Düsseldorf, but he made it clear that he wanted home advantage next week in Ireland and noted that it would be “The Prince vs Punk.”
Balor has been known as The Prince in the past, and while on the Independent Circuit, he wrestled as Prince Devitt, but while a member of The Judgment Day, he hasn’t been able to bring back the iconic character.
Will Finn Balor bring back his alter ego next week on RAW?
Prince Devitt became iconic for his face paint and the way he would dress up as other characters, so this could be a massive tease since this is a huge match for Finn Balor in his home country.
It isn’t hard to imagine that he could bring back The Demon in the hopes that he would be enough to overcome Punk, since he was belittled by the champion this week on RAW.
The Demon was a strong alter ego for Balor, but he hasn’t been seen for several years, and WWE RAW in Ireland could be enough for Balor to bring him back for a one-off appearance. Even if he isn’t able to win the title, there could be a way for the match to end without him taking the loss.
Interference from Bron Breakker could be enough for Balor to lose via DQ and then tease a face turn.
