Nick Aldis has now officially made it clear that a top WWE star is no longer welcome on SmackDown going forward. The star will not be part of the show for the foreseeable future.
Nick Aldis told Paul Heyman that Drew McIntyre was not welcome on WWE SmackDown
The SmackDown General Manager, Nick Aldis, has not had the easiest time on the show with Drew McIntyre. The star has attacked officials, broken rules, shown up when he’s been asked not to, interfered with multiple Cody Rhodes matches, and made an overall nuisance of himself. He was suspended last week but rejoined the Vision and has since appeared on RAW. On top of that, he appeared on SmackDown today and attacked Cody Rhodes.
Aldis spoke to Paul Heyman today and informed him that the star was not only still suspended but was persona non grata on SmackDown and, as such, was not welcome on the show at all.
“I don’t know what you’ve got planned, but I know it’s nothing good. So, let me be clear about a couple things. The only reason he’s here in my building, is because he has a match in the Last Time Is Now Tournament. And my hands are tied. Just like they are tied in the situation with Drew McIntyre, because you put him in your WarGames team. But Paul, this is not WarGames, this is SmackDown. So as far as I’m concerned, Drew McIntyre is still persona non grata.”

Paul Heyman had an answer for Nick Aldis
Heyman answered Aldis and said that they respected him as the General Manager and had asked him to leave the show as a result. He also said that they did not really have a bad plan for the night.
“I asked him to leave because we respect the suspension you levied against him. As for Bronson Reed, the only thing Bronson Reed needs is find an opponent stupid enough like Carmelo Hayes to step into the ring with. Have a good SmackDown.”
Unfortunately for him, Reed lost his match later in the night.
