Breaking news on Randy Orton amid WWE absence

Randy Orton’s ongoing absence from WWE television continues to be the subject of much discussion. However, there’s some good news for his fans.

The Viper hasn’t been seen since the October 3, 2025, edition of SmackDown. In his last appearance, he teamed up with Cody Rhodes to face Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker in a losing effort.

It looks like Randy Orton took some time off to spend some quality time with his loved ones.

He took to his Instagram handle last week to share a heartfelt family photo from their Belize getaway, where he and his wife, Kim, also celebrated their 10th anniversary.

While there’s no word on when The Apex Predator is coming back, fans will be hearing from him very soon.

Earlier today, IShowSpeed announced that Randy Orton will be the special guest on his upcoming “Speed Goes Pro” episode, which will be dropping on his YouTube channel tomorrow.

“I have probably one of my best episodes coming out tomorrow, bro. My personal chat. I have a YouTube video coming out tomorrow. It’s Speed Goes Pro. It’s my show, and it’s the WWE episode, bro. It’s the WWE episode. It’s for Randy Orton. It is probably my favorite episode out of the whole season. I haven’t even watched it yet, but I know what happened because I filmed it. So chat, better watch that episode tomorrow. It’s going to be on YouTube.”

Will Randy Orton return at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2025?

As much as fans want to see him back in action, Randy Orton is all set to miss Survivor Series: WarGames in San Diego on November 29.

Before his hiatus, The Viper teased going after Cody Rhodes and his Undisputed WWE Championship. But it seems like the creative is saving the student-mentor rivalry for next year.

With Drew McIntyre still in the title picture, fans shouldn’t expect to see Randy Orton back anytime soon.

Could he make a surprise appearance at the Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia next year? Only time will tell.
