[BREAKING] CM Punk finishes his story: becomes WWE World Heavyweight Champion

CM Punk finally finished his story at the Saturday Night’s Main Event show in Salt Lake City. The Second City Saint won his 7th World Championship in the WWE by beating Jey Uso in the main event of the show.

Punk had originally won a Fatal 4-Way match on RAW few weeks ago to become the Number 1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship. However, Seth Rollins got betrayed by the Vision on the same night and got injured after they assaulted him. This led to RAW General Manager Adam Pearce stripping the title off of the Visionary.

After this, Jey Uso won a Battle Royal to face CM Punk for the vacant World Heavyweight Championship. During the match, both stars hit each other with their own moves. Jey even speared Punk through the barricade like his cousin Roman Reigns has done to many opponents in the past.

Following an intense bout, the Best in the World hit Jey with a GTS. Jey was pushed to the ropes by the impact and collapsed straight on the shoulders of Punk who hit him with another GTS to end the match and become Champion. This was similar to how Punk beat Seth Rollins in the main event of the RAW debut of Netflix episode.

Fans are excited to finally see CM Punk reign as the World Heavyweight Champion on Monday Night RAW.
