The Bloodline is one of the most dominant and iconic factions in the history of WWE. A major Legend from the Ano’ai family has now spoken up about his major concern regarding the company today. The star in question is the real life Bloodline member Rikishi who talked about the rising ticket prices for WWE shows.
While speaking on his Rikishi Fatu Off The Top podcast, the Usos’ father discussed how the ticket prices have risen so much that it’s hard to afford them for working class people.
“You know, I’m not with the company full but I’m still in a Legends contract with the WWE so you would think that more family members and close friends to get comp tickets but there is no comp ticket. So I can probably try and get a discounted but I don’t know what’s discount nowadays? Like a 1000$ ticket let’s just steal it you know for family of 5 and a man working 9 to 5 through the whole week and the family loves you know wrestling, it’s very difficult to be able to take your family too.” He said.
During the conversation, he compared the ticket prices in the Triple H era with those back in the day.
“You know.. back day for us man, yeah tickets like 25$, 50$ you know I don’t know front row seats was 75$ or something like that you know but now you gotta hit the lottery to even sit in the nose box right?”
A lot of fans around the world have raised this exact same concern with the Stamford-based company.
WWE have been hosting a lot of international shows lately
The Entertainment Juggernaut was known to host most of their major shows in the United States only. However, that has changed over the past few years majorly since Triple H took over the creative leadership of the promotion. The company has started hosting a lot of their big PLEs internationally including this year’s upcoming Royal Rumble.
Even the first WrestleMania outside the United States of America will be taking place next year. The event will be hosted in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a country which has hosted a lot of major PLEs in the past.
It’s great to see WWE have their superstars travel the whole world and interact with their international fans.
