Mercedes Mone faced yet another embarrassing moment on television amid a major downfall. Following this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, she sent out an ominous message that left many wondering.
The CEO has been faced with setback after setback in recent months. From losing a major title match to Kris Statlander at Full Gear to failing to win the AEW World Tag Team Championships at Worlds End pay-per-view, Mone had significant losses.
Furthermore, the former WWE superstar lost three titles from her belt collection, dropping the ROH TV title to Red Velvet and the Undisputed Rev Pro Women’s title to Alex Windsor. Moreover, her biggest loss came at Dynamite: New Year’s Smash, where Willow Nightingale dethroned and ended her record-setting TBS title reign.
Adding insult to injury, Ultimo Mone was invited to Nightingale’s title celebration on this week’s Dynamite and was put down on the mat with her face covered in cake and left embarrassed in front of the whole world. After that, Mercedes Mone took to Instagram to share photos from that segment and sent a message directed at AEW’s broadcast network, TBS, hinting that they might take a hit in viewership now that Mone is no longer holding their title.
“RIP @tbsnetwork.”

Top AEW champion sends a message to Mercedes Mone
During the aforementioned celebrations segment on Dynamite, Willow Nightingale was joined by her fellow AEW World Tag Team Champion, Harley Cameron, and the AEW Women’s World Champion, Kris Statlander. The trio celebrated as Mercedes Mone was left embarrassed in front of the fans.
Following that, Statlander sent out a message to The CEO, saying that they had to stop meeting like this, possibly mocking her after she was humiliated on Dynamite.
“We have to stop meeting like this @MercedesVarnado,” Kris wrote.
As the forme/r TBS Champion continues to face a tough phase in AEW, we will have to wait and see what the future holds for her.
