“I believe there is heat” – Megastar has disappeared from WWE due to a serious falling out with Triple H, according to veteran

Triple H has been firmly in the driver’s seat in WWE as far as the creative direction of the company is concerned. However, there has been a growing backlash over some of his choices lately. Amid this, Vince Russo has predicted that The Rock’s disappearance from the promotion could also be due to a falling out with Triple H.

The Final Boss doesn’t just have a regular contract with WWE, but he’s a part of the Board of Directors at TKO, the global juggernaut’s parent company. This effectively makes him a mighty powerful figure within the organization who calls the shots regarding both off and on-screen operations of the company.

In a recent chat with -7 Sports, Vince Russo discussed The Rock pulling himself back from WWE and devoting all his time to his Hollywood commitments. The former WCW Champion believes that the megastar might have had a falling out with Triple H and that they couldn’t see eye-to-eye in the locker room.

“Bro, I gotta tell you something. The only thing I see is I am convinced by looking at the landscape and what’s been going on for especially the last year and what not. I believe there is heat between Triple H and The Rock. I believe there are camps. I believe there are sides. I believe The Rock is laying low in the weeds,” said Vince Russo.(H/T – TJRWrestling)

Vince Russo thinks The Rock wants his own people in WWE

Furthermore, Russo explained that The Rock could be eager to bring in Hollywood writers with different sensibilities to be a part of WWE. Vince Russo added that even if new-age creative people were brought in, until the “old guard” stays in power, nothing is likely to improve in the long run.

“Think of The Rock’s rolodex. If he all of a sudden wanted to hire the best writers in Hollywood that he knew to turn wrestling upside down, I believe he could do it. But, man, until you replace that old guard, it’s gonna be the same old same old because that’s all they know,” Russo added.

Russo’s comments are mere speculation at this point, though, as there’s been no concrete evidence of any backstage turmoil or discord in the global juggernaut.
