Seth Rollins is happily married to Becky Lynch, and they have one daughter together. Rollins recently opened up about his past relationships and revealed an interesting truth.
Before Rollins began dating Lynch, The Visionary was previously engaged to Leighla Schultz. He was also in a relationship with NXT wrestler Zahra Schreiber, who was in WWE for a year.
Speaking to Jay Mohr in an episode of the Mohr Stories podcast, Seth Rollins discussed failing to separate his character from himself in his personal life. It led to him having problems with a previous relationship, though he didn’t mention which one.
“I stopped taking off my work hat. I just kept wearing the work hat, and I became Seth Rollins. My girlfriend at the time, I was not a good partner, partially because of that reason. Because I just put that hat on and that’s who I was. I wasn’t one of those people who could pull it off without collateral damage,” Rollins said. [H/T TJR Wrestling]
Despite hardships in previous relationships, Rollins managed to find love with Lynch. The couple began dating in January 2019 and were soon expecting their first child together. They welcomed their daughter, Roux, in December 2020, and they got married six months later.
Becky Lynch made the first move on Seth Rollins
In an appearance on Bert Kreischer’s Something’s Burning podcast last month, Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch shared the story of how they started dating. Rollins was going through an identity crisis in late 2018 and thought polygamy was the way for him.
Lynch, acting as a friend, supported Rollins, but she didn’t want to be one of The Visionary’s women back then. But things took a turn when The Man initiated the first move at the 2019 Royal Rumble.
“It all came to a head in Phoenix, Royal Rumble weekend. One thing led to another. Essentially, she came up to me and she was like, ‘You’ve been all talk. Let’s go,'” Rollins said. [H/T SEScoops]
A few months after they started dating, WWE put them together in a storyline. It was a tough time back then because they were still getting to know each other, though things worked out eventually.
