The NXT Champion could make his main roster debut next month and shock the world by winning the Men’s Royal Rumble Match. He could go on to face Rhodes at WrestleMania 42 for the Undisputed WWE Championship. The speculation arose because the two superstars have unfinished business as their match ended in a disqualification at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Oba Femi winning the Royal Rumble and beating Cody Rhodes at ‘Mania seems like a fascinating idea. However, the chances of it happening are extremely low. Even if WWE calls up The Ruler to the main roster in early 2026, Triple H is unlikely to put him in the main event scene immediately. The company will build him up before putting Femi in the world title picture.
Meanwhile, Cody Rhodes is expected to be involved in a high-profile match at The Show of Shows next year. Several marquee opponents like Randy Orton, Jacob Fatu, and Roman Reigns are on the list of potential contenders. Hence, WWE is unlikely to book Rhodes in a match with Oba Femi when there are such big names on the table for the Undisputed WWE Title match.
