WWE star Je’Von Evans is one of the most active wrestlers in the company’s roster right now. However, despite fighting all these matches, The Young OG has mostly been on the losing end, especially in title matches. Moreover, Evans lost yet another title match at the 2025 AAA Guerra de Titanes.
Je’Von Evans competed for the World Cruiserweight Championship against Laredo Kid and Jack Cartwheel in a Triple Threat encounter. Despite dishing out great moves and fighting at an amazing tempo, Evans didn’t win the title, as Laredo Kid emerged victorious and retained his belt.
With this, the 21-year-old has now lost 12 straight title matches across WWE, TNA, and AAA. Thus, while Je’Von Evans is surely bouncing around a lot, he is neither gathering any moss nor winning any championship belts.
Laredo Kid takes FLIGHT and retains the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship!

He did become this year’s Iron Survivor by overcoming Dion Lennox, Joe Hendry, Leon Slater, and Myles Borne. However, Ricky Saints’ interference cost him the NXT Championship match against Oba Femi on the December 9, 2025, episode of NXT.
Je’Von Evans had almost clinched victory, but Saints pulled the referee out before he could finish the pinfall count when Femi was down.
Former TNA champion reacts to Je’Von Evans’ AAA loss
Following his loss at the 2025 AAA Guerra de Titanes, a post on X highlighted the embarrassing title match loss streak of Je’Von Evans. Jordynne Grace came across the tweet and asked The Young OG to stay strong. While The Juggernaut’s response looks supportive on first glance, it could also be mocking Evans.
Stay strong bro 🤝🏼 https://t.co/mPOGAjfLmy

Jordynne Grace is a three-time TNA Knockouts Champion, the inaugural TNA Digital Media Champion, and a one-time TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champion. Despite her accolades in WWE’s partner promotion, the 29-year-old is yet to win a title in NXT.
Evans has been making a few main roster appearances lately as well. He defeated The Miz on the December 12, 2025, episode of SmackDown. The 21-year-old had also faced Randy Orton, although in a losing effort in October last year. It would be interesting to see if The Young OG is able to break his title match curse anytime soon.
