AEW and WWE are fierce rivals. Both companies are thriving under the leadership of Tony Khan and Triple H. However, World Wrestling Entertainment remains the largest promotion in the world.
WWE color commentator Booker T is one of AEW’s biggest critics. The legend is not a fan of the Jacksonville-based company’s style and frequently takes shots at them. Interestingly, on a recent episode of his Hall of Fame podcast, he called All Elite Wrestling a good destination to wrap up one’s in-ring career.
“I wish they had AEW around when I was doing this thing. I’d have camped out. I’d have just camped out, made me a little tent. I wouldn’t have been going nowhere, man, because I’m serious, they pay you not to work in AEW,” he said.
Booker T’s comment has sent All Elite Wrestling fans into a frenzy. They responded to the above statement by calling the one-time WCW Champion a hypocrite and Triple H’s puppet. They believe that the 60-year-old joined TNA during the final years of his in-ring career just to get a hefty paycheck.

WWE legend Booker T has AEW on the Adam Cole situation
Rumors suggest that former TNT Champion Adam Cole is going to retire from in-ring competition due to health reasons. On a recent Hall of Fame episode, Booker T said that this situation wouldn’t have happened had the former WWE star been more muscular.
“I mean, every time this guy get back in the ring—bang—he gets injured, he get hurt. And I made a comment that, you know, maybe if Adam Cole, you know, took a little bit more protein, you know, got in the gym, hit the gym a little bit, you know, drank a little bit more milk, you know, got a little bit more dense bone,” he said.
Hopefully, Adam Cole will return and crush retirement rumors soon. Only time will tell what the future holds for him.
