WWE star Dominik Mysterio announces new name following shocking revelation

WWE Superstar Dominik Mysterio recently announced a new name for his team after a shocking reunion happened after more than a year. Dirty Dom cut a promo at AAA Alianzas on November 22, 2025.

At AAA Alianzas, Dominik Mysterio teamed up with El Grande Americano to lock horns with Dragon Lee and El Hijo del Vikingo in a Tag Team Match. All of the stars involved in the bout put on an incredible display of action inside the ring, but the match ultimately ended in The Judgment Day star’s team’s favor.

Following the bout, Dirty Dom cut a promo, calling his and Americano’s team the “best Mexican team.” He then claimed that no other tag team was at their level. After this claim, the Lucha Bros (Penta and Rey Fenix) reunited for the first time since July 2024 to issue a challenge to Dom and Americano to a match at the Guerra de Titanes in Guadalajara on December 20.

Dominik accepted their challenge before giving his and El Grande Americano’s team a new name, ‘Los Gringos Locos 2.0.’ For those unaware, Los Gringos Locos was a famous tag team in the early ’90s in Mexico. The original team consisted of the late great Eddie Guerrero and Art Barr.

“Together we are the best team in the world, the best Mexican team that has played here in Mexico City. And there is absolutely no one who is at our level. [Lucha Bros reunite and issue a challenge to Dom] (…) We accept it. And we’ll see you on December 20 in Guadalajara. But don’t forget, dogs, we are the ones who send the gringos parking. Los Gringos Locos 2.0,” he said. [Translated from Spanish to English via Google Translate]
