Dominik Mysterio is one of the fastest rising stars on the WWE roster today. He had some really great matches this year even winning the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania. He has now joined the likes of two former World Champions by selling out his photo-ops for the Survivor Series Meet and Greet event.
Dominik faced Penta, Bron Breakker and Finn Balor at WrestleMania in a Fatal 4-Way match for the Intercontinental Championship. Dom stole the win by pinning his own Judgement Day mate Finn Balor. He also won the AAA Mega Championship later by beating El Hijo Del Vikingo.
WWE usually hosts meet and greet events around their big PLEs. They recently announced a Meet and Greet for the upcoming Survivor Series: WarGames event with options of getting photos with superstars. The option actually got sold out for Stephanie Vaquer and Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio. Dirty Dom has joined two of the company’s biggest female stars in this achievement.
It will be interesting to see what’s next for the King of Luchadores with Survivor Series: WarGames taking place in his hometown.
Dominik Mysterio lost his Intercontinental Championship to John Cena
Last week’s episode of RAW took place in Boston, Massachusetts which is Cena’s hometown. He opened the show to thank the fans and greet them but was interrupted by Dirty Dom. The heated confrontation between the two led to Dom defending his title against John Cena on the show.
After a hard-fought battle with some hilarious spots and tributes to the late great Eddie Guerrero, Cena succesfully captured his first Intercontinental Championship. This also marked Cena becoming a Grand Slam Champion with now only three dates left on his retirement tour.
Dominik Mysterio was furious after losing the title as none of his Judgement Day members were on ringside to support him.
