6-time World Champion to return to WWE after 4 years for Last Time is Now Tournament? Possibility explored

Solo Sikoa is set to face a mystery opponent in the first round of the Last Time is Now Tournament tonight on WWE RAW. There has been a lot of speculation about who The Street Champion could face on the red-branded show, with many names from NXT mentioned.

However, the creative team could pull off an incredible twist by having a six-time world champion return to the promotion after four years for a shocking appearance.

Former WWE Champion Jeff Hardy has been making appearances on NXT over the past few months, owing to the partnership with TNA. While his presence has remained restricted to the developmental brand, he could make a one-off appearance on the main roster to face Solo Sikoa when RAW airs from Madison Square Garden.

The video package announcing the Last Time is Now Tournament confirmed that there would be participants who weren’t part of WWE. Zack Ryder was revealed as one of those names on SmackDown last Friday. Tonight, Hardy could make a one-time appearance to put Sikoa over in the first round, still representing TNA on the main roster.

However, this angle remains speculation for now, and it remains to be seen who steps up to face Solo Sikoa on RAW tonight.

Adam Pearce claims all theories about Solo Sikoa’s opponent on WWE RAW are wrong

In a recent video uploaded on X/Twitter, RAW General Manager Adam Pearce addressed the fan theories doing the rounds about who Solo Sikoa could face in the first round of the Last Time is Now Tournament:

“And Solo Sikoa, not very happy with me, will oppose a very special surprise. And I gotta say it, you, the WWE Universe, have a ton of theories, and could they all be wrong? So far they are. And that is surprisingly official.”

The surprising statement from Pearce has only fueled more fan speculation about who the leader of the MFTs could face tonight. Could it be Jeff Hardy or someone from NXT? Fans will have to tune in to RAW tonight to find out for sure.
