WWE Champion Announces He Will Retire In 2026 & End His Career

A WWE champion announced that he will end his career once and for all on RAW. His career will end in 2026.

Currently, WWE is in the middle of a huge retirement tour from John Cena, but as it turns out, he’s not the only one who will be retiring. A current WWE champ has announced that he will, too, next year. AJ Styles was speaking to Adam Pearce on RAW this week, where he made his opinion clear.

He was speaking to Pearce backstage, and there he said he would be bringing an end to his career next year. The Phenomenal One added that, until he retired, he would put everything on the line and defend his World Tag Team Title regularly, wanting big matches against whoever came to challenge him. He and Dragon Lee were ready to face anyone and everyone.

Adam Pearce was not about to give The Judgment Day the chance for the title, but Styles, given that he is retiring soon, seemed ready to take on everyone. He agreed to the championship match, and now the two teams will face off on the next show as well.

AJ Styles could have a retirement tour of his own in WWE

With Styles retiring next year, it seems that the company is setting him up for a retirement tour of his own. Currently, as the tag team champion, he is in the middle of a title feud, but it’s expected that he will face a lot of stars in dream matches before he ends his career.

As for who he will face in his last-ever match, some say Shinsuke Nakamura would be a good candidate, while others say he could put someone over before he leaves.

At the moment, the identity of the star he will face is up in the air.
