Drew McIntyre is set to pick the stipulation for his next WWE Championship match with Cody Rhodes. The Scottish Warrior was reinstated by Nick Aldis during a cinematic home invasion segment released by WWE on its social media profiles.
One of the conditions McIntyre made Aldis agree to was that he would get to choose the stipulation for his next WWE Title match. Ahead of his return next week, here are five potential stipulations Drew McIntyre could choose for his final title match against Cody Rhodes.
5. Ambulance Match
The animosity between Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre has spiralled out of control, and a pinfall or submission victory might not be enough. The two are at the level where they seemingly want to hurt the other, and to help them settle their issues, McIntyre could choose an Ambulance Match as their final encounter.
Incapacitating The American Nightmare and sending him to the hospital might be just what ends the feud for the Scottish Warrior, and it could be one of the choices under consideration.
4. Last Man Standing

Continuing from the previous point, and keeping to the theme of one incapacitating the other, a Last Man Standing Match could be on the cards. This would allow the two to have an all-out brawl while also letting WWE somewhat protect the loser.
However, the chances of a Last Man Standing match happening are somewhat low since Damian Priest and Aleister Black fought under the same stipulation on WWE SmackDown just a few months ago.
3. “I Quit” Match
One of Cody Rhodes’ first title defenses was against AJ Styles, in an “I Quit match. The American Nightmare emerged victorious and could be put into the same stipulation once more by Drew McIntyre.
One of the driving points of this feud has been the Scottish Warrior wanting to break Rhodes psychologically. Getting the Quarterback of WWE to quit to win the WWE Title would instantly help Drew McIntyre regain all the credibility he has lost over the past few months.
2. Three Stages of Hell
A stipulation that has not been seen in WWE in years – Three Stages of Hell could be one of the best ways for the two bitter rivals to settle their differences once and for all. This way, WWE could combine three stipulations on this list into one match and could put the two through a brutal test of physicality.
However, after Rhodes lashed out at Drew McIntyre during the home invasion segment and at Nick Aldis during SmackDown, Three Stages of Hell might be just what the two need to end their feud for good.
1. Falls Count Anywhere
Cody Rhodes beating up Drew McIntyre at his doorstep has clearly proved that the ring is not enough to hold the two rivals. They have also brawled backstage, and could have a Falls Count Anywhere Match for the WWE Title.
They could brawl all over the arena, and could even take things outside the premises, like the good old days. If so, this would be a fitting conclusion to a rivalry that has tested Rhodes’ character more than anything else during his second run with the company.
