4 WWE Superstars who can disrupt Cody Rhodes vs. Drew McIntyre on SmackDown

The upcoming episode of WWE SmackDown is set to take place in Berlin, Germany, and we have a massive title match on the card. Cody Rhodes will put the Undisputed WWE Championship on the line against Drew McIntyre in a Three Stages of Hell Match.

The first stage will be a straight-up wrestling match, the second will be Falls Count Anywhere, and the third, if need be, will be contested inside a steel cage. The rivalry that has been going on since August will likely conclude with this bout. However, it may come with surprises.

Given the nature of the match, chaos is all but inevitable. That said, in this listicle, we will look at four WWE Superstars who could possibly disrupt Cody Rhodes vs. Drew McIntyre on SmackDown:

#4. WWE legend Randy Orton

Randy Orton returned to television last week and immediately put Cody Rhodes on notice. The Viper told his former mentee that he is coming for the Undisputed WWE Title once Rhodes gets past Drew McIntyre.

It appears that the long-awaited feud between Orton and Rhodes is finally happening. However, it remains to be seen if The Apex Predator continues to be a babyface or turns to the dark side for the rivalry.

The veteran could decide to interfere during the title match on SmackDown and make his choice. Orton could assist Rhodes in winning, only to turn on him later.

#3. Trick Williams

Trick Williams is officially a member of the SmackDown roster, and the charismatic star wasted no time in setting his sights on the top prize of the brand: the Undisputed WWE Championship.

In a promo segment with Sami Zayn, Williams made it clear last week that he is here to be a World Champion. The former NXT Champion could take it a step further this week and interfere during the title match between Rhodes and McIntyre, potentially taking them both out.

#2. Oba Femi

Oba Femi is headed to the main roster after vacating the NXT Championship on this week’s episode of the black and silver brand. Given his potential, the Triple H-led creative team could put The Ruler in the title picture right away and have him disrupt the Three Stages of Hell Match between Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre.

Femi has unfinished business with both of them. The Nigerian star’s match against Rhodes at SNME last month ended in a disqualification, thanks to McIntyre. The powerhouse could pick up where he left off and make a mark on SmackDown.

#1. Jacob Fatu

Jacob Fatu has been away from television since the October 17 episode of SmackDown, where he was mysteriously attacked backstage before his number one contender’s match against Drew McIntyre.

Fatu was close to entering the World Title scene before being sidelined. Moreover, the identity of The Samoan Werewolf’s mystery attacker has yet to be revealed. McIntyre was the prime suspect, and if that is true, Fatu could come seeking revenge on SmackDown. He could interfere during the upcoming title match and cost the Scotsman a potential victory.
