28-year-old SmackDown star reveals his WWE career could be over in heartbreaking health update

Elton Prince has been out of action for more than seven months, but it seems that the reason behind his WWE absence has now been revealed.

The Pretty Deadly star has now shared on Instagram that he suffered a neck injury that has led to many major health issues, which have taken more than half a year to diagnose.

Prince noted that he had recently undergone neck fusion surgery and was now concentrating on regaining some of the skills he has recently lost. It appears that stepping back into the ring is the last thing on his mind, and he could now be out of action for a lot longer than fans feared.

“But my focus right now is just getting healthy and reclaiming the basics like being able to be the best dad I can be for my daughter as @kellykincaid_wwe is long overdue a good nights sleep! I Can’t thank her enough for the support and help during all this and while im recovering im excited to watch my brother @kitwilson_pd crush everything he does and get a well deserved spotlight shone on him ⭐️” he wrote

Despite being stuck in the hospital whilst WWE is on their European Tour, it seems that Prince is watching his former tag team partner Kit Wilson as he shows he can be a legitimate singles star.

Elton Prince may never return to WWE

This is a somber update from Prince, who will be aware that at 28 years old, he may never return.

Neck injuries have long been seen as one of the biggest issues for wrestlers, with Kevin Owens and Big E still sidelined after their recent issues.

While Paige and Edge have been able to return after their injuries, there could be some hope for Prince if he wants to make a return.
